HEAL

Under prohibition, only the shadow side of drugs are on display. So much needless suffering results when governments don't accept that drugs, naively labelled "bad" over a century ago, contain immense therapeutic value. So too when governments interfere with any patient's rights to choose their own healing options. Cannabis has been used medically for thousands of years, then someone labelled it a "weed" of only negative health consequences. Tragic stories about heroin and fentanyl leave people thinking the mission is to eradicate these evil drugs, never knowing they are opioid pain relievers, chemically identical to the morphine they took after breaking a bone. Prior to their prohibition, LSD, MDMA, and ketamine were all successfully utilized in therapeutic settings. This is just the tip of the iceberg. What matters is there are healing modalities that could be helping millions of people suffering from so many physical and mental health issues, but the government is usually getting in the way or outright imprisoning them.
